Headteacher's Letter

Dear Parents or Guardian,

On behalf of the staff and governors I would like to welcome you to Beecroft Primary School.

We are all very proud of our school which has earned its reputation and assessment as
"an outstanding school" (Ofsted 2007). The inspector's letter to pupils said, Beecroft "really is a special place." It is special because there is a real partnership between teachers, pupils and parents. By working together we help your child reach his/her full potential and the highest possible standards. We also believe that parents look for good discipline and a positive and caring school ethos. It is this that the school intends to deliver.

We have the primary schools' Quality Mark, became a Beacon School in 2002 for outstanding achievement as well as achieving the Healthy Schools Advanced award in 2006. Our curriculum is exciting and stimulating and includes many trips, visits and visitors.

We set ourselves high standards. We are committed to growing and developing as a school. We hope that you will visit us and see for yourself just how effective we are. You will always be most warmly welcomed. We look forward to meeting you and your child.
